About Us

Gary Unger, former Director of Facilities for American Express, founded Link Systems in 1991. From the onset, Gary’s primary focus was to develop automated solutions that he didn’t have at American Express. He always hated telling management, “I can get you that report but, it will take a couple days.” His goal has been to develop software that allows real estate & facility managers to answer those questions in minutes, not days. Even better, he wanted software that would allow management to run a report themselves!

Gary’s vision prompted Link Systems to develop ProLease, an integrated suite of modules that cover the entire real estate life cycle. Today, over 500 clients worldwide are using ProLease.

The ProLease story would not be complete without mentioning Alan Bushell of ProCalc. We met Alan in the mid 1990’s through various real estate industry events. We became fast friends and eventually decided to build a lease administration database together, leveraging each other’s talents and existing client bases. Alan’s experience developing and supporting his ProCalc Lease Analysis software (for 2,000+ clients) proved invaluable in building ProLease Lease Administration. Fifteen years later, the relationship is stronger than ever, Link Systems and ProCalc still own ProLease Lease Administration in a 50/50 partnership and share all revenues and responsibilities.

Link Systems has been profitable since the early 1990’s with no outside debt or capital funding and, has maintained the same ownership. Staff retention has been fundamental to our success with all senior management employed at Link for 10+ years.

Our primary objectives, since 1991, have been to:
